The Role

We’re looking for an experienced, personable, and safety-focused Trip Guide to lead small group experiences throughout the Sea-to-Sky corridor and beyond. As a Beyond Whistler Guide, you’ll bring energy, local knowledge, and professionalism to every moment — ensuring guests feel inspired, cared for, and connected to the places they explore

Key Responsibilities

• Lead private and small-group day trips, excursions, and multi-day journeys with a focus on safety, storytelling, and guest experience.

• Share local knowledge about the region’s history, ecology, culture, and adventure activities.

• Provide seamless logistical coordination — including guest pickups, timing, and communication with vendors and partners.

• Conduct pre-trip checks and maintain safety standards for all activities.

• Collaborate with the operations and guest experience team to refine itineraries and deliver exceptional service.

• Represent Beyond Whistler’s values of authenticity, sustainability, and respect for local communities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience guiding or instructing in tourism, outdoor adventure, or hospitality.

• First Aid / CPR certification (Wilderness First Aid an asset).

• Class 4 Driver’s License (or willingness to obtain).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills — ability to connect with guests from around the world.

• Knowledge of the Sea-to-Sky region, local trails, and attractions.

• Professionalism, reliability, and a passion for outdoor adventure and storytelling.
